Coraline
My girlfriend and I went to see Coraline the other night. It was a fantastic movie! I just wish that the theater we saw it at was equipped for 3D. There were so many shots where you could tell that the movie was made to be seen in 3D.
I’ve never read the book, but my girlfriend is a (self-proclaimed) Neil Gaiman whore. I was surprised to find out that the Y.B. character was not in the book at all! He was specifically created for the film. I guess they needed some kind of “boyfriend” type, even if they didn’t become anything more than close friends.
The movie also greatly reminded me of the game, Psychonauts. That game was so good! I should play it again soon.
